Isle of Wight Festival - Finale Triumph            June 2008
Over 50,000 people attended this year's Isle of Wight Festival, with top bands such as The Police, Kaiser Chiefs, The Sex Pistols, Sugarbabes and Starsailor heading the bill.  Jubilee's display team was set the task of providing a spectacular finale for this fabulous event, organised by Solo Promotions.

As Sting and The Police left the stage, we lit up the night sky with a stunning bombardment.  Virgin Radio commented;  'Am I the only one still impressed with fireworks?  Wow!  The Festival has gone out with a bang as some spectacular firworks left a cloud of smoke over Seaclose Park...'

'Sci-Fireworks' - New show launch                   May 2008
Following the tremendous success of our themed show 'Sky-Rockers' (launched in 2007), we have added a new display 'Sci-Fireworks' to our fantastic repertoire of pyro-musical displays.

This superb show is set to become the No 1 November attraction at venues up and down the country. Combining great musical tracks (The Matrix Reloaded, Futurama, Stardust, Transformers....), with potent pyrotechnics, we have designed a show that really will be 'out of this world'.

The Lake of Dreams                              October 2007
We have enjoyed long associations with the 'British Musical Fireworks Championships' - a popular annual event staged by Sefton Council and held at the Marine Lake in Southport.  In 2007, Jubilee were commissioned to stage a special introductory display, on each of the three evenings of the competition.

Our show, entitled 'The Lake of Dreams' incorporated a range of low level and acquatic effects and demonstrated how a digital firing system can be used to its full advantage.

A wide frontage of 400 metres was employed, with numerous individual effects fired from multiple positions to generate beautiful symmetry and stunning reflections in the lake.

World Fireworks Champions                     September 2007
Our second performance at competition level, in September, was in response to an invitation to present the UK entry into the 'World Fireworks Championships', held in Blackpool.

Four companies battled it out throughout September to gain the prestigious title.  On this occasion, we competed against Pirotechnia Minhota from Portugal, DW Fireworks of Canada, and Design Fireworks from Austria.

Blackpool's promenade welcomed more than a quarter of a million visitors during the four heats and we were delighted to be crowned 'World Champions' for 2007.

The Mayor of Blackpool commented “The UK’s entry was a clear favourite with the crowds, and I am pleased to announce that Jubilee Fireworks take home the trophy this year.”

Total European Champions                      September 2007
In September, Jubilee were invited to participate in the European 'Champion of Champions' event held at Pembroke Dock (Wales). This new and innovative venture was sponsored by the Total Oil Company.

Other participating companies included Foti of Australia, who staged the opening exhibition display, Millennium Pyrotechnics from Salisbury, and Westcoast Fireworks, from Narberth.

Our display for this competition featured a wide range of Italian and Spanish effects and members of the judging panel were sufficiently impressed to award us first prize.

Algarve Fireworks Festival                         July 2007
Luso Events of Portugal invited Jubilee to design and stage a display for a new event on the popular Algarve resort.  The International Pyrotechnic Festival of The Algarve (FIPA), involved contributions from England, France, Brazil, Spain, China and Portugal.

Our display (entitled 'Unite and Reflect') was fired from several pontoons situated out to sea, with shells located on a jetty.  Perfect choreography, stunning colour sequences, and a breathtaking noisy finale ensured an enthusiastic response from the audience.

Organisers Grupo Luso are one of the largest firework concerns in Portugal, with a world-wide reputation for the quality of their work.  Jubilee were proud to be associated with the FIPA event.

Malta Fireworks Festival                          April 2006
Valletta Harbour was the magnificent setting for the 1st Malta International Pyro-Musical Fireworks Festival, at which Jubilee staged the opening display.

Fired from barges moored in the Grand Harbour, our display (entitled 'Majestic Power') was enthusiastically received by the vast crowd situated along the waterfront.  Italian and Spanish fireworks, some specially manufactured for the display, were a key feature of our show, which closed with a breathtaking silver willow finale.

Maltese participants included St Michael's and St Mary's Fireworks Factories, who exhibited a range of remarkable hand-crafted shells. Orzella Fireworks of Italy provided the closing display.

Maldives - New Year Celebrations              December 2006
On 31st December 2006, we fired a display in our most exotic location yet!  Jubilee Fireworks were contracted by DMS Worldwide to design and stage the New Years Eve display on the island of Kanahura, in the Maldives.

A stunning ten minute aerial extravaganza marked the close of 2006, with shells and candles creating a colourful backdrop over the beautiful island.  Fireworks in paradise!

Champion of Champions - Plymouth              August 2006
Jubilee Fireworks were winners of the British Fireworks Championships in 2003.  In 2006, all eight of the previous winners competed 'head to head' for the UK firework industries most prestigious award to date.

After a hard-fought contest on Plymouth breakwater, over two nights, our display was awarded first prize by a panel of expert and lay judges.  To achieve first place in the 'Champion of Champions' event is the highest honour in the British Pyrotechnics industry, establishing Jubilee as undisputed leaders in the provision of large-scale professional firework displays.
